HOW STUDENTS CAN GET INVOLVED
-
Join LGBTQ+ students and early career professionals across the UK as we ask you to ‘activate your allies’ by sharing posts on social media which tell the allies in your lives how they can stand more strongly in solidarity with you and other students across the UK.
This year QSD2026 will also be happening on ‘Time To Talk Day’ - we encourage you to also share your mental health experiences on social media to support this important day hosted by Mind charity. -
Launching on QSD2026, Queers & Early Careers is a new research initiative which will work closely with, and learn from, LGBTQ+ student societies across the UK. We invite you to share your experiences of the world of work and what you need from student employers to thrive in your transition from education into employment.
-
We invited LGBTQ+ professionals to write a letter to their former student self, encouraging them to use this opportunity to reflect upon their career experiences to date and to ‘send a message of hope back in time’ that LGBTQ+ students could also benefit from.
