This is not a formal event so guests are not expected to be wearing black tie or formal dress, although they are welcome to. We always encourage guests to wear what makes them feel fabulous and powerful - it's completely up to you how you interpret this. 

Yes, additional drinks can be purchased from the bar and at your tables once seated. Payment is by card only.

The awards presentations are scheduled to finish by 10.30pm. Guests can continue to enjoy the evening and network once the ceremony ends. There will be a free after party hosted by Heaven nightclub for those wishing to continue celebrating - wristbands for this will be available on the night for everyone over the age of 18. 

We will be announcing a runner-up and winner for each category, with awards presented on stage for each. Groups are welcome on stage where this applies to the category. The winners will be invited to speak on stage. This is not compulsory. We request that all speeches are kept brief to allow us to run to schedule. 

We will design a table plan for the event once ticket sales close on Thursday 12th June. This will be shared on our digital event guide 48 hours before the event and will also be available to view at the venue during the drinks reception. Tables seat 10 guests. Tickets purchased together will be seated unless the total number of tickets exceeds 10, in which case your party will be seated on tables next to each other. If you have any requests for seating these can be sent to us at hello@thequeerstudentawards.co.uk no later than one week before the event.
